SIF Receipts Due Soon
SIF (Supplemental Instructional Funds) is a program ACE uses to provide you with additional resources for students (see Section 601 in the handbook for details). SIF receipts for September are due October 15 for payment this month (by the 25th). Please submit a waiver for activities your child receives instruction in (ie., lessons such as dance, music, art, swimming; must be completed annually) and a Direct Deposit form for all payouts (typically only needs filled out one time and carries over from year to year). Receipts can be submitted at any point in the month; however, if you miss the deadline, we will hold your paperwork until the following month.

School Photos
School photos are on Tuesday, October 20! ACE does not charge for photos and will provide each family with a digital copy of their students’ picture. Students are to wear their Tuesday uniform for school photos.
Pumpkin Patch Time (registration ends 10/16)
Join us at Detering Orchards on October 29, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Parents provide transportation to and from the pumpkin patch. To register and get more information: forms.gle/7V8ByjuebvoChwX27 ; **Just added- cow barrel rides for students 12 and under!
Literary Parade (Choose a book character)
On Thursday, October 22, during lunch time, we are holding our annual Literary Parade (parents always welcome!). Students and staff get to dress up as a character from a book instead of wearing uniforms. General guidelines:
No masks or face coverings, no weapons (even fake ones; nothing related to weapons at school, at all), and nothing scary/horror-related (remember, we are a K-12 school). Please make sure your costume is modest (no bare midriff/bare chest; low neckline or high slits) and that you’ll be able to comfortably study in your costume for the day (we don’t have a lot of time to be taking costumes on and off). Each person in appropriate costume will earn 10 points for their House team. If you have questions about your costume, please let me know.
