Hello ACE families,
Thanksgiving is just around the corner! You will notice on the HLAs this week that teachers have adjusted the workload to allow students additional time for family activities during the upcoming holiday. Also, due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no 4th Week Homework Club next Tuesday. Happy Thanksgiving!
Donation Drive/Team Game
We are holding our annual Donation Drive House team competition. Each donated item earns a point for your team. Drop off canned foods or personal hygiene items in the boxes located across from the office. We are making the donations available to ACE families suffering due to the shutdown and/or reduction of food benefits. Families will be able to access the food supply in the school’s kitchen on Week 9. The donation drive will run through Week 12. After that, any remaining items will be donated to Community Sharing in Cottage Grove.
Parents Night Out
Are you needing a night out to go gift shopping or have a date night? Student Council has you covered! On Friday December 12 from 5-8 p.m., Student Council will be hosting a fun night at ACE. The event will include a pizza and veggie dinner, movie with snack pack, and a craft. Registration is open to ACE students and siblings only; children must be between the ages of 5 to 18. Cost is $15.00 for the first student and $10.00 for each additional child in the family. Please register by December 10.

Our winter party will be a frosty/snowman themed event held on Thursday, December 18. We need lots of parent helpers for these big schoolwide events! Here’s how you can help.
