ACE Newsletter - Week 28

Jun 1, 2026

Hello ACE families,

We are heading into Week 28! The next two weeks will be full of finals, classroom Character presentations, year-end parties, dress rehearsal, and the final program. Don’t hesitate to ask if you’re not sure about dates, times, and events!

No More Fun Clubs

Fun Clubs are over for the year. Thanks so much to all our great Club leaders! We appreciate you!

SIF

The final SIF deadline for the year is Thursday, June 4. All SIF forms can be found here: drive.google.com/drive/folders/19GHYqnBJnL_d4ZEif2n56mtDUCNkA3EL?usp=share_link

Party time!

ACE's annual end-of-the-year extravaganza will be held Thursday, June 4, 12:30-3:30 p.m. We cannot make this amazing party happen without your help. Please sign up to prep, clean up, supervise, and/or bring a side dish to the event:

Book Returns

You are welcome to start returning books on Thursday, June 4, if your student has completed all assignments and won’t have anything to catch up on before school officially ends on June 12. Books will be stored in the craft/science hallway and book boxes will be available to take home if needed to pack your books back to school. You can also bring books back in your own totes/bags and transfer them into our boxes.

June AIMs (for everyone) & Placement Testing (for NEW students only)

June 16, 9 a.m. - Grammar C - Rhetoric New Student Placement Testing. ADs will confirm this with new students/families. Pre-Grammar - Grammar B students are individually scheduled for testing.

All currently enrolled students receive placement testing on school days and do not need to attend the special testing day. However, all students (both new and returning) need to sign up for an AIMs (Parent/Teacher conference). The June AIMs scheduling document is available for you to choose your preferred time slot with your child’s new AD. ADs will discuss student progress, report cards, state assessments, summer HLAs, and class schedules for next school year. If you are unsure which AD to schedule your AIMs meeting with, please ask your current AD for clarification.
